New club evaluation period
The first 4 full months following the first real order is free, with all the benefits of the paid option. This will be considered an evaluation period where new clubs can see for themselves the time savings of Foodclub over free options like Google docs or Excel, and learn all of the features and power of Foodclub to gain full use of it. After 4 full calendar months, clubs will start getting billed, but can then opt for the free version. The evaluation period begins on the 1st day of the month following the first real order, so in practice will be between 4 and 5 months.

Discounts (off paid option)
referral discount:refer a new club that ends up using Fooclub, and get 4 months free service once the referred club completes evaluation period and reaches one half of your club's size (if they choose paid option)
high volume discount:anything over $10,000 per month is charged at 1% instead of 2%; so the first $10,000 would be $200, and everything over that at 1%
overseas discount (outside North America):flat rate of 1%, since these users aren't getting quite as good service, with fewer supported vendor databases
disadvantaged community / food desert / minority neighborhood:sliding scale 0% - 0.5% - send an e-mail to request this discount

Payment methods
Paypal or Venmo:for US-based customers: free if you use a linked bank account; payment automatically credits in 5 minutes for known senders: quickest, cheapest, and easiest method
Wise:for international customers: cheapest way to send money across currency zones; fees are much lower for larger amounts, so you can wait until your balance due exceeds $200 USD equivalent in your own currency (ignore warnings about late fees, until balance over $400 USD)
Billpay or mailed check:if you have a US dollar bank account, you can mail a check or use bank billpay (address provided on request); there is a $1.00 processing fee for checks smaller than $100, on these non-electronic payments

Billing options

Monthly clubQuarterly userAnnual prepayment as a club
At the end of every month, Foodclub invoices the club based on that month's archived order totals. Every 3 months, Foodclub invoices each of the club's users (members) based on the amount they ordered in the prior 3 months. The high volume 1% discount applies per user, on anything over $200/mo. If you want to prepay as a club for the entire year, you are invoiced near the beginning of the year based on the prior year's order totals.
Preferred payment method: Paypal or Venmo. Alternate payment methods: mailed check or BillPay check. Other methods that incur a transaction fee are possible, but club would have to pay the fee. Payment can be made by Paypal or Venmo. Payment by check not available, unless user prepays at least $30. A discount of 10% off is available for annual prepayment, and 5% off for semi-annual / 6 months prepayment.
This is the default billing method, unless a club requests otherwise. Great for all-volunteer / no fee clubs, or clubs with no central bank account. Only available to clubs who have at least one calendar year of order history on Foodclub.
Subject to approval; can be changed to monthly club if users are not paying; all amounts owed are due from the club, not the individuals getting the bill: this is just a convenience option to divide the club's bill into pieces.
